Arrived to a beautifully decorated home with a festive Christmas tree and chocolates on the table, which added a lovely touch to our romantic escape. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Soft fluffy towels and toiletries in the bathroom made us feel pampered. The location was perfect, with shops within easy reach and no need to use the car. it was a comfortable and special stay.
Honestly, there were no negatives. Everything was perfect, from the thoughtful decorations and amenities to the convenient location.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the convenient location of this home. Being very central, it allowed easy access to shops and attractions, so I didn't have to drive. The three bedrooms provided ample space, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host's attention to detail was evident, with a travel cot already set up and special Christmas decorations throughout the house. The home was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was well-stocked with fluffy towels and toiletries.
Noise from nearby activities disturbed my sleep occasionally.

The host provided a travel cot for our young children, taking the stress away from us. The house had a cozy Christmas theme, with a tree and little decorations, making our stay during the holidays extra special. The house was well-presented, clean, and tidy. The spacious downstairs areas were equipped with all the homely touches, while the bedrooms offered comfortable beds. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, being centrally located to everything.
We felt quite safe and had no complaints whatsoever.

The kitchen at Cartref, 1860s Family Home is like a dream come true for anyone who enjoys cooking. It's equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and all the kitchenware you could possibly need. I felt right at home, whipping up delicious meals for my family.
Personally, I found the two bathrooms a bit cramped. But hey, that's just my preference.
